PhD in the field of organic chemistry/biochemistry under Prof. Carell at Philipps University in Marburg and Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (summa cum laude; thesis title: “Selective modification of DNA by copper-catalysed 1,3-dipolar cyclo-addition.“).

 

During the PhD, scholarship holder of the Fonds der Chemischen Industrie and the Römer prize from the Dr. Klaus Römer Institute.
